Memory down the Lane

Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose.

Take your time to rekindle your memories of 2009. Some can be pleasant, that you may want to cherish for the rest of your life. Some can be bitter that you don't want to repeat in 2010. But those are the teaching we get at the cost of few tears and a test to your friendship.

It may not been a roller cost ride for me but definitely a pleasant one (can be seen from my FB statuses). A more challenging and at the same time a comforting one with a varying chain of events starting with a re-location in January to KL. Who said, taking up a new role in a known territory is always a smooth ride?? Still the warmth of KL made it easy for my comeback. With so many proud moments, as an Indian and a die-hard fan, the month of February was a double delight of ARR's twin Oscar win. March was a month of excitement with my frequent travels tasting the best of both worlds. With the two quite months of April & May went with planning and more planning, came the month of Birth.

The mad drinking and getting wasted at Jaya 1 with the person with the best quote of the year " don't tell me your problems, drink up!" and the man with all the cousins in the world, was followed with a quite birthday with the sweetest birthday dessert and the most sweet person i know in KL. Thanks for the dinner folks! I spent the day with the most important person in my life, dedicated the day to the project that i never got. No harms done, each day is a learning and i received my gift with an accomplishment. Accomplishment of completing another year in this awesome world. And then i met "The Ditcher" from motherland. Gem of a person, but yeah decided to get married and break all the rumors of our love affair ;) Happy for you brother and wishes to bhabi.

The life was beautiful in July with one of the loveliest places i have ever lived, Home Sweet Home!! It definitely played a major part of my 2009. Met the person who had all the courage in the world to explore the world at the same age when i first stepped out of my home town. She inspired me in exploring Malaysia and the person who has just few words for me all the time " Don't do a Thing" Glad i met you my friend.

September kick started the crazy ride for the rest of the year. With all the late nite parties and the music. The person who made me to listen to real Music other than ARR. Learnt that Music is what feelings sounds like. Lucky to meet and greet someone who is special to me now and always. And we have the winner for the year 2009, the man from the Fields (Padang) coming alive from the devastated land. May their soul rest in peace and you now you have another reason to be back in KL, Let's Party Harder dude! And how can i miss the event of my life, The Singapore GP... had the best time with Abhi. Cheers! bro...

The month of Lights, gave the Indian in me the chance to rejuvenate for Diwali and to keep going for the next couple of months till i take a nap on my mom's lap next. Yes, you read it rite, i'm a mama's boy. Made me comfortable to be what i'am and do what i do the best, Go Crazy! Got to know the gals everyone in town wanted to be acquainted with. The friendship i adore i admire i feel jealous of and also makes me proud by making me part of it. Love you gals!

Sweet November, month of molten chocolates and surprises. Never thought that my tamil would be so loved by someone sooo special. It inspired me to write. This time of the year is very close to my heart and it will continue to be..... The Person i adore the most.

I'm Glad that 2009 is put in to rest with a self satisfaction of making an effort to put a broad smile in the life's of all the person i love the most...

With so many new friends in 2009, mostly through one huge family of cousins, who had always been there with a big smile and open arms and the person to kick all worries with a drink on the rocks, it was a blessed and a most memorable year of the recent time. Each and everyone i met was different and inspired me in a unique way. Made me to explore the place i live in, made me listen to music other than ARR's Late nite movies and nite outs with my f'rite 3 musketeers in Singapore. With a grand finale of the '3 idiots' nite out, and spending quality time with Vinay sums up all the fun of 2009.

Hoping for the new decade to be equally fun filled and more inspirational to all. And i just want to keep enjoying my quite lonely Saturdays!

Note: Cheer! to all the new person I've met and Wishing You and Your family a very Happy New Year.

Aum...

Hi,

There is always a beginning a middle and an end to everything... let it be in real or fantasy, science or mythology, good or bad, today we have a beginning. A beginning of a quarter past journey ... when i was thinking for a suitable name for my first post 'Aum' stuck me.. The syllable 'Aum' is first described as all-encompassing mystical entity in the Upanishads... I turn 25 today and instead of thinking that i have not achieved anything, i would rather start counting the good things i come across and happened to me as a remembrance... There is no better teacher in this world than your self...

I'm such a bad person when it comes to writing... at the same time, to give up on this idea of blog is going to be little difficult... so first post nothing much... but i really wanted to thank once again Vinay, Divya, Naresh, Manjiri, Priya, Ashok for giving me a wonderful and a nice surprise last nite... and can't believe that now i really own my first cycle at the age of 25... and going by my life's progression graph i would have the 5 C's at the age of 70... {:~0

Now before i sound more boring with my words, i take a leave and thanks Vinay for the message... i know you really wish to be here with me... and Prassi for logging in to wish me...

Cheers!
Sara
